The SODA Insurance Program combines broad coverages, highly competitive prices, and exemplary service in terms of issuing certificates, answering questions and claims administration. Amateur sports teams and leagues, tournaments, and sports officials – both youth and adult – in the sports listed below are eligible to participate in this national insurance program.
2026 SODA INSURANCE CHARGES
Rates available 04-01-2026 through 03-31-2027 (all charges include premium and RPG fees)
No commissions are payable to insurance agents.
The covered operations of a team/league include tryouts, practices, games, participating in tournaments hosted by others, and other group activities approved and sponsored by the team/league and with team/league rostered participants. The team/league policy does not cover ownership/operation of sports facilities, hosting tournaments, or operating camps with participants that are not rostered on the covered team/league. The Sadler/SODA insurance program provides other enrollment options for hosting tournaments and youth camps with outside participants. Contact Sadler for other options if your organization owns/operates a facility or you have adult camps.
Note: If you exceed the maximum number of players per team for your sport shown below, you must purchase coverage for additional teams to make up the difference.

Directors & Officers Liability/Crime/Equipment
- $1,000,000 Directors & Officers Liability $382 per governing board
- $2,000,000 Directors & Officers Liability $490 per governing board
- Equipment/Crime (subject to a minimum premium of $300)
- Crime: $25,000 limit and a $500 deductible.
- Equipment: Limit is based on the Replacement Cost Value of 100% of Organization Owned Equipment with a $500 deductible.
**Please Note: For those who have purchased stand-alone crime in the past, as of 3/1/2024, it is no longer offered as a separate policy. As a result, you will need to report at least $1000 worth of unscheduled miscellaneous equipment whether you want equipment coverage or not to meet the minimum policy requirements. A $300 minimum premium applies for the combined Crime/Equipment policy. If you have over $1000 worth of equipment and contents, please increase your numbers accordingly. The rate for this is $.0153 (except in HI & NY) multiplied by the Total Replacement Value.
