We are pleased to partner with Sadler Sports Insurance to provide the following coverages to the affiliate members of NAFBF.

 


Accident And General Liability

Your affiliate’s membership participation in NAFBF automatically provides the following insurance policies as a member benefit. Covered activities include tryouts, practices, games, clinics, tournaments, concessions, event set up and tear down, office premises, ancillary events held in conjunction with the insured events, fundraising, dinners, awards banquets and planning sessions on behalf of NAFBF. 

Excess Accident

Pays covered medical bills on behalf of injured participants including athletes, managers, coaches, assistants, referees, officials, volunteers and staff, performing their normal duties at a “covered activity”.

$100,000 Medical Limit ($500 deductible)

Coverage is “Excess” to other collectible health insurance

$ 10,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment

General Liability

Protects against covered lawsuits and claims where it is alleged that your negligence resulted in bodily injury, property damage, or personal/advertising injury.

Covered persons include insured entities, directors, officers, coaches, managers, assistants, officials, referees, volunteers, players, and additional insureds which have been added.

*Coverage extends to premises or facilities only while insured teams are participating in sponsored functions.

*Notable exclusions include standard General Liability exclusions, alcohol and drug related claims, trampolines and springboard; unmanned aircraft; communicable diseases, employment related practices, and punitive damages.

Risk Management Requirements

Affiliate is responsible to require 100% of all athletes and staff members to individually register for membership with NAFBF prior to any activity as a requirement of the insurance carrier. In addition, Affiliate understands that as a basis of granting coverage, that the insurance carrier relies on individual registration with NAFBF which includes a process to collect approved waiver/release agreements on all athlete and adult staff participants as well as the running of and passing of criminal background checks on all staff participants. Furthermore, the insurance carrier is relying upon Affiliate to fully implement and comply with all  risk management programs in the affiliate agreement. Affiliate understands that certain coverages may be voided for failure to comply with insurance carrier requirements.
