Entertainers And Performers General Liability Insurance

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

This insurance program has been specifically designed for individual U.S.-based entertainers and performers who work on an independent contractor basis entertaining at local fairs, festivals, special events, private parties, convention, or tradeshow booths. Coverages provided include important liability protection for the entertainer or performer for liability claims arising out of their operations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The following criteria must be bet to be eligible for consideration of coverage under this program:
  • Entertainers must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Annual gross income from the performer’s activities cannot exceed $300,000.

• Celebrity Look-Alikes
• Clown
• Comedian
• Contortionist
• DJ or KJ
• Face/Body Painters (FDA approved/compliant paint only)
• Holiday Character
• Impersonator
• Impressionist
• Juggler
• Magician
• Mime
• Musician, Singer or Vocalist
• Poet
• Puppeteer
• Story Teller
• Ventriloquist
• Western Performer
• Yodeler

This list does not encompass all types of entertainers and performers that may be eligible for this coverage. This is only a summary. Please contact Sadler Sports & Recreation Insurance if you have questions about your eligibility.
INELIGIBLE OPERATIONS
The following entertainers and performers not elligble for this program include, but are not limited to the following:
• Acrobatic/Aerialist Performers
• Actor or Actress
• Circus Performer
• Cosmetologist/Beautician
• Escape Artist
• Exotic Dancer
• Group Acts or Bands
• Henna artists
• Hypnotist
• Jouster
• Mascot (college, high school, professional)
• Model
• Performer putting on athletic exhibition
• Performer using weapons (with live ammunition or sharpened blades)
• Production/Entertainment Companies
• Public Speaker
• Pyrotechnician
• Rap, rock or hip hop musical entertainer/performer
• Strength Performer
• Stripper
• Stunt performer
• Permanent Tattoo and/or Body Piercing Artist

Florida Applicants: All Florida applicants must add a 1.3% state mandated Hurricane Catastrophe Fund assessment fee to the total of the premium.
